Pasadena is law firms, medical groups, architecture and engineering practices, universities and research staff, nonprofits, and financial advisors. It is a city where credentials matter and the photo has to match them. I photograph individuals and whole departments, and for teams I keep the lighting identical across everyone so the directory finally looks like one company.

The office buildings around Colorado and Lake have solid conference rooms and good afternoon light. If you want the city in the frame, Old Pasadena, the City Hall courtyard, and the streets near the Playhouse District give you real architecture, while the Arroyo Seco and the older residential streets offer trees and shade.
